Karl Dungs expands in Nuneaton

The UK arm of European gas control company Karl Dungs has doubled the size of its Nuneaton warehouse after the branch had its "best ever year".

The German company hired Coventry-based Deeley Construction to undertake the work of expanding the assembly facility to 5,400 sq ft.

Karl Dungs was first established in Germany in 1945 and now has an annual turnover of about €110m (£92m).

Nuneaton has been home to the company's UK operation for the past 30 years, initially at Slingsby Close before it moved to Liberty Way in 1997.

Managing director David Manion said: "Just over ten years ago we switched our focus from purely selling individual products to combining that with value-added services such as system design, assembly and on-going support.

"This has been a great success and off the back of that we sought to increase the size of our facility to help us continue on this path."
