Bargain Pages moves to city centre

Bargain Pages has relocated from Tysley to Cavendish House in Birmingham's city centre as part of its plans to increase awareness of the brand.

The classified ad operator, which was acquired by Loot from the Daily Mail in 2010, has signed a ten-year lease, with a five-year break option, for 2,400 sq ft in the Waterloo Street period office development.

About 15 staff will be based at the new offices.

Bargain Page's Robert Feld said: "Local profile is important in an operation such as ours, and we were looking for a location which could be easily accessed by our customers be they on-line or readers of the classified newspaper.

"Our managing director has ambitious plans, and this new base will be an important part of our growth strategy."

GBR Phoenix Beard is the letting agent at Cavendish House, which is owned by Aberdeen Asset Managers.
