Mood Bars enters administration
A buyer is being sought for Leamington Spa-based Mood Bars (UK) after it entered administration. The hotel, bar and nightclub company was unable to pay creditors.
Ryan Grant, Simon Wilson and Anne O'Keefe, partners at Zolfo Cooper, have been appointed as joint administrators.
The insolvency specialist is searching for a buyer for the company's properties and venues, which include TJ's Bar and Bistro, the Thomas James Hotel, Koko's nightclub and the Shakespeare Inn public house.
The administrators will continue to trade the business while they look for a buyer, in the hope of selling it as going concern.
Grant, partner at Zolfo Cooper, said: "Following our appointment, we will continue to trade the various businesses while we conduct a thorough review of the company. We would like to thank all staff for their continued professionalism during this process."
