Total revenue has increased 12 per cent over the last three months at data analyst company Experian.

The Nottingham-based company told the Stock Exchange this morning that its credit services division experienced a 15 per cent revenue climb in the quarter ending 31 December.

During the three-month period, Experian acquired shares in Garlik, Computec S.A and 192business.

"We continue to see good results from the execution of our growth strategy, helping us to withstand uncertainties in the global economy," said Don Robert, chief executive of Experian.

"Looking ahead, we expect organic revenue growth for the second half to be at least as strong as the third quarter, while for the year as a whole, we reiterate our expectations of modest margin improvement and strong cashflow conversion."

Total revenue growth in the UK and Ireland was 10 per cent. Latin America experienced 42 per cent growth while EMEA/Asia Pacific and North America reported rises of 19 per cent and 3 per cent respectively.
