Expansion for New Century Windows

Share | |

New Century Windows has expanded its factory in Nottingham with a 40,000 sq ft unit in the city.

The windows, doors and conservatories supplier, which already has a factory on Daleside Road where it manufactures its own glass and window products, has extended its facility on to Poulton Drive to accommodate new machinery.

New Century Windows was set up in 1997 in Mansfield and supplied its products to the construction industry.

The business now employs about 100 staff across its sites and produces, on average, 800 windows, 1,500 sealed units and 20 conservatory roofs a week.

Managing director Rob Cassidy said: "From our humble beginnings in Mansfield, we've already grown significantly.

"We needed more space to accommodate the new machinery and felt the unit in Poulton Drive was ideal due to its location. When we thought about growing, we knew we wanted to take additional space on the back of our current factory. This will also allow our planned investment for 2012 to take place."

Nottingham property agency Innes England acted on behalf of ISIS Waterside Regenration.
