Paragon Interiors Group secures three contracts
Nottingham-based Paragon Interiors Group has won three contracts totalling 200,000 sq ft and is set to recruit more staff.
The commercial design and fit-out specialist has started work on a 150,000 sq ft UK call centre for Axa Insurance in Ipswich; Britvic Soft Drinks' new 32,000 sq ft marketing headquarters in Hemel Hempstead; and a new head office for residential search engine property company rightmove.com in Milton Keynes.
Managing director Alan Hardy said: "These contract wins result from a huge effort in 2011 where we defied the hugely challenging economic conditions, especially in our sector.
"We had a major recruitment drive in April 2011 and we have more good news on the horizon with two more prestigious contracts about to come on stream so we will be recruiting again very soon to add further skilled personnel to our team."
Paragon's strongest ever start to a financial year led to the creation of 25 jobs in summer last year.
The company won in the Best Large Business and Best Employer categories at the Best Business Awards in December.
Chairman of the judges Andrew Areoff said: "Paragon has defied the recession and one of the worst ever downturns in the commercial property market to enjoy spectacular double-digit growth in every area in the past two years."
