Ex-Saab boss joins Chamberlin
Chamberlin, the Walsall-based engineering company, has appointed a new non-executive director.
Keith Butler-Wheelhouse will join the board on 1 March to succeed Tom Brown who is retiring from the roles after nearly nine years.
Butler-Wheelhouse has held several high profile roles within the engineering sector having led Smiths Group as chief executive for 12 years until his retirement in 2008.
He was also chief executive of Saab Automobile in Sweden for four years, where he returned the company to profit with the introduction of new products, expansion into new markets and reduced structural costs.
Chief executive Tim Hair said: "I am sure that Keith's knowledge and skills will prove invaluable to Chamberlin as we continue the top and bottom line growth of the business.
"We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Tom for all of his efforts and advice during his time as chairman, which has been a period of major change in an often difficult economic environment, and to wish him."
