Green light for Birmingham's Park Central
Housebuilder Crest Nicholson has been given the go-ahead for another phase of its Park Central development in Birmingham city centre.
Detailed planning consent has been granted by Birmingham City Council for the central phase of the project to build 132 one- and two-bedroom apartments in two residential buildings, sitting over a 139-space car park.
The new buildings will be located at the heart of the development, linking the Moonlit Park to the Sunset Park and providing a paved walkway linking all Park Central's residential quarters, including: Liberty, Washington, Houston and Lincoln.
The housebuilder has recently sold Lower Parkside, on of the residential phases of the development, for £15m.
Working in partnership with Birmingham City Council and Optima Community Association, Crest Nicholson has already developed the majority of the 61 acres of the former Lee Bank area of the city, with more than 1,000 homes already sold.
Savills acted as planning consultants for the central phase of Park Central.
