Indian marathon win for Junction 15
Newcastle-under-Lyme-based film company Junction 15 has been hired to film marathon races for an Asian satellite TV network.
Star TV in India has awarded a contract to Junction 15 to film races across the country.
The contract win comes after Junction 15's Emmy Award-winning director Andrew Rowell filmed the Delhi half-marathon in November.
Rowell will film the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon, which takes place on Sunday (15 January).
"It was an amazing experience. We have worked in some incredible locations over the past few years and Delhi was certainly one of the most interesting," said Rowell.
"We worked long hours setting everything up leading up to the race and on the day itself we started at 3am.
"The event was huge across Asia and broadcast live on one of the leading TV channels. It was really rewarding to see the final show all come together as successfully as it did."
