Evans ExCeLs
Bespoke precast concrete specialist, Evans Concrete, is working on a £300,000 contract at the ExCeL Exhibition and Conference Centre, in London Docklands. The contract was awarded to Evans by Sir Robert McAlpine and involves the design, manufacture and installation of the precast concrete elements of a concrete and steel ramp that will serve as an internal walkway in the ExCeL Phase 2 building. The ramp will feature 24 concrete panels, each seven metres long and 2.5 metres wide, incorporating 320 circular clear glass blocks to allow light to filter through the ramp.
