Seamless move for clothing company

Share | |

Cothing manufacturer Seamless Technics has created new jobs in Thurmaston, Leicester, after moving into Pinfold Industrial Park.

The company, established last year by former Sweater Shop founder Brian de Zille, has moved into 7,500 sq ft of space on the site.

Seamless specialises in producing racewear and activewear for use in motor sports and go-karting.

The relocation the Pinfold Lane spot has created ten jobs, said director Alan Hodge.

"We chose Leicester as the perfect place to set up Seamless Technics and the 019 Clothing brand partly because we have experience of the city but also as it seemed natural to set up here in the heart of the old knitwear and hosiery trade," he added.

"The racewear and activewear markets do have established manufacturers to compete with but we feel we have a unique product, we’re happy with how business has gone so far and we have a production capability of 1,200 garments a week."
