Two Edgbaston accountancy practices have merged.

Chartered accountancy practice JW Hinks is pairing up with Mason Law, which has 25 years' experience in taxation and accountancy services, business advice and independent financial advice.

Paul Jones, managing partner at JW Hinks, said: "For some time we have been looking to merge with another successful, client focused accountancy practice as part of our long term project to develop the practice.

"Mason Law is a recognised accountancy practice with a rich heritage in providing quality financial services, particularly to the pension scheme world.

"The merger with Mason Law will continue this philosophy and is ideal for the practice to continue to thrive and prosper in the decades to come."

Bob Law, at Mason Law, added: "We are delighted to have completed this merger with JW Hinks, which will strengthen the service to our clients and our experience and specialisms operating within JW Hinks will provide a springboard to promote those specialisms to appropriate potential clients."
