Office take-up boost for Birmingham
Almost 190,000 sq ft of office space was taken up during the final three months of 2011 in central Birmingham, according to a report.
The figures, revealed by the Birmingham Office Market Forum, revealed that 189,806 sq ft of office space was taken up during the period in the city involving 40 deals.
This followed 100 deals totalling 479,992 sq ft which took place in the first three quarters of 2011.
A total of 140 office deals took place in the city centre in 2011 totalling 669,798 sq ft, the report found.
Big final quarter deals included space being taken up at The Cube, Colmore Gate and Printing House Street.
