Geldards is MBI King
Law firm Geldards, based in Nottingham, has advised on a £13m management buy-in (MBI) at Newton Abbot’s Pasta King (UK). Howard Farquhar and Michael Cole have joined the business as managing director and chairman respectively, the pair's second MBI into the food service sector. NBGI Private Equity provided funding for the deal. Debra Martin, partner in the Geldards corporate team, said: "After such a turbulent financial year, it is very promising to see deals of this kind taking place."
