Seddon connects with £1m deal
Stoke-on-Trent maintenance company Seddon Property Services has won a contract worth up to £1m with Leisure Connection.
The leisure management company has appointed Seddon on a year-long contract to provide building maintenance services for the 70 sports venues which it operates across the UK.
Leisure Connection has a portfolio of 91 swimming pools, 25 football pitches, four theatres and ten hotel and fitness venues. The company’s Harpers Fitness gym brand has more than 55,000 members.
Seddon's contract includes building fabric maintenance and painting and decorating services.
Dan Robinson, head of property services at Bedfordshire-based Leisure Connection, said: "This contract was awarded following a stringent selection process. We were very impressed with Seddon Property Services."
Seddon Property Services is part of Seddon Group, a family-owned company specialising in construction, painting and maintenance and housebuilding.
