SP Holding swoops for Trailercare
Trailer maintenance and repair company Trailercare, based in Willenhall, has been snapped up by a Black Country business.
Telford-based SP Holding Group has bought the £1.2m-turnover company for an undisclosed sum.
SP Holding, which also operates a Renault Trucks dealership and VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency) truck test site, said the deal would help it offer a truck and trailer care service for logistics companies.
Steve Holding, managing director of SP Holding, said: "Trailercare has some important long-term contracts and those will continue. We will also be looking to expand and develop the services offered, so our new truck and trailer care service goes from strength to strength."
Trailercare offers a nationwide service for contract and fleet management including breakdown cover, sales and finance. The company employs 25 staff at its 10,000 sq ft maintenance depot on the Long Acre Industrial Estate, Willenhall.
