Belgrade Plaza winning plaudits
A development that is helping to regenerate the centre of Coventry has landed a prestigious award. Oakmoor Deeley's Belgrade Plaza scooped the Premier Guarantee Excellence Award for best mixed-use development, beating off competition from across the UK. Schemes in Manchester and Sheffield made it to the final three, but Premier Guarantee, which provides warranties on more than 200,000 homes in the country, was won over by the Coventry entry. The panel of judges said: "This is a high-quality, prestigious development in the centre of Coventry." Manoj Bhardwaj of Oakmoor Deeley said it was excellent news for the city as well as for the development.
