Birmingham new-homes market showing signs of life
The Birmingham homes market is surprisingly buoyant, according to property agents Knight Frank. Mark Evans, partner and head of new-homes sales for the central region at the firm, said: "The Birmingham new-homes market has been surprisingly robust in recent months, and we experienced a busy summer despite it historically being the quietest time of year for the property market. Overall, the Midlands has suffered price drops of approximately 20 per cent from the peak, but these prices seem to be levelling out, and some of the positivity reported in the south east is trickling upward."
