Mobile Money expands in Redditch
Logbook loans specialist Mobile Money is expanding its Redditch operation with a move to new premises.
The company, which is headquartered in the town, has moved from Windsor Road to 2,500 sq ft offices at 62 Birchfield Road on a five-year lease.
Mobile Money is also planning to consolidate its second Redditch location into the new offices next year, bringing the 20 employees on to one site, it said.
Operations director Simon Furnival said: "The West Midlands is an important area for us, it is where it all began and we are delighted to be able to grow our Redditch business, further developing our head office functions."
Mobile Money was founded in October 1998 in Redditch and now has 33 branches across England and Wales.
It allows customers to raise money against the value of their cars, borrowing from £200 up to £25,000, depending on the vehicle's value and the individual's ability to repay. A vehicle buyback service is also available.
