Hotel plans to help revitalise shopping centre

Share | |
Birmingham planning consultancy CSJ Brooke Smith has secured planning permission for a major new hotel in the heart of High Wycombe within a conservation area. The development will take place at the Chilterns Shopping Centre in Frogmoor, and it is hoped that the new hotel will revitalise this part of the Buckinghamshire town. Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) plans to demolish the existing vacant upper-floor offices and replace them with a 124-bed hotel and car parking provision. The rest of the shopping centre will remain, with the addition of a new restaurant at ground-floor level with potential for outdoor seating in Frogmoor.
