DG Professional fits out concept store

Nottingham interior shop fitter DG Professional Interiors has been appointed to fit out the interior of the new concept store.

The Lacoste L!VE unit opened last week at the Boxpark development along a vacant strip of east London's Shoreditch High Street.

Boxpark is built and constructed from recycled shipping containers and is composed of 60 standard-size shipping containers, stacked two stories high and five rows wide. It claims to be the world's first ever "pop-up" shopping mall.

DG Professional Interiors managing director Ian Coward said: "We have been retained by Lacoste to do their UK wide shop refurbishment and fit-outs over a number of years, and have fitted out lots of bespoke features to the interiors of many shopping units, but never a shipping crate.

"It's been an unusual and exciting project which has gained lots of media profile."
