Food duo launch Life Fork & Spoon
Two Warwickshire entrepreneurs have teamed up with celebrity chef James Martin to establish a home-delivery food service.
Martyn Thomas from Alderminster and Kevin Morel from Alcester have launched Redditch-headquartered Life Fork & Spoon alongside Martin.
The pair have worked together in the food industry for more than 20 years and now currently own restaurants in Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham.
Thomas said: "This is such an exciting project for us and we are delighted to be working with James Martin. We have worked hard over the last year to make sure all the dishes and desserts are top quality and we have already started to build a fan base in the local area.
"We have launched with around 60 products but we're hoping to increase this in the next few months. We want to make gourmet meals more accessible to people, so they can recreate restaurant quality foods in their own homes and we are confident that the dishes on our menu will be popular among food fans of all ages."
The company delivers food to homes across the UK. It currently employs five staff, and is on track for quick growth.
