Derwent Living reveals build targets
Housing provider Derwent Living, based in Derby, has unveiled plans to build 650 houses over the next two years.
Through its 2012 business plan, the company said 80 per cent of the affordable properties would be built with private funding.
Derwent Living set the objectives out through its growth plan up to 2014.
Other targets in the company's plan include improving levels of overall customer satisfaction to 90 per cent; improving its existing housing stock through the Decent Homes Plus Standard and working with local authorities and agencies to maximise opportunities for development.
Peter McCormack, chief executive of Derwent Living, said: "At a time when people are continuing to make cuts in the property sector and when major reductions are being made in public funding, most organisations have been forced to re-evaluate and downscale their plans for the future.
"I am pleased to say that our new plan clearly shows our intention to grow over the next two years."
