Black Country Chamber of Commerce has appointed a new vice-president for its Wolverhampton branch.

Mike Priddy will take up the role at Wolverhampton Chamber, working with the organisation's president Bhanu Dhir.

Priddy, who heads up the Handelsbanken branch in the city, said: "I am delighted to be elected as Wolverhampton Chamber vice-president. I look forward to representing the views of Wolverhampton members and to build on the work so ably undertaken by Bhanu during his years of Presidency.

"I am very passionate about both Wolverhampton and the wider Black Country and I have already begun to set objectives for myself, with the support of the board to focus on greater business engagement across all levels."

Priddy has also held the role of vice-chairman of Alliance 4 the Black County, the professional network hosted by the chamber of commerce, and is a member of the chamber business and enterprise policy group.
