Midven's successful exit strategy
Local venture capital company Midven has announced a significant return on its investment in Alfreton-based business Autochair via the HSBC UK Enterprise Fund for the Midlands. Midven's return was two times its initial investment in the company, which provides driving aids to people with disabilities. Autochair's sales have quadrupled in the period that the fund has been an investor, and its headcount has increased from 11 to 31. It is now one of the UK's leading vehicle adaptation specialists.
