Paul Reeves has been appointed as managing partner at Yorkshire Bank's Birmingham financial solutions centre.

Reeves, who has worked for Yorkshire Bank for the last 30 years, will take over from Stephen Cronin who is now managing partner at the company's Coventry site.

Having been managing partner in Cheshire and Stafford between 2006 and 2010, Reeves also led teams at the bank's Coventry and Northampton offices. In his new role, he will also be responsible for the Stafford office.

"Access to finance is key to breaking down any barriers for economic growth," he said.

"We are still actively looking to support trading and forward-thinking businesses through our Investing for Growth initiative. Indeed our commitment is now stronger than ever as we continue to attract growing numbers of small and medium sized businesses."
