Brilliant bought by media giant
Brilliant Media, which has major operations in Birmingham, has been acquired by international business MediaCom.
The terms of the deal were undisclosed. Employing about 75 people, Brilliant also has offices in Leeds and Manchester.
MediaCom said its regional network will be strengthened by the addition of Brilliant's operations. It also pledged that Brilliant's customer base "will continue to receive a high level of personalised service across all three offices" while benefiting from the wider MediaCom network.
Earlier this year, the £140m-turnover Brilliant was forced to counter speculation that there had been an exodus of directors after the loss of contracts with Asda and DFS.
In accounts for the year to 31 March 2010, Brilliant Media Group posted a pre-tax profit of £151,715 on turnover of £137.9m.
