Morecrofts win £1m contract trio
Derby-based electrical installation specialist Morecrofts has secured three major contracts worth more than £1m.
The company, which is based in Friar Gate, obtained its ninth contract on Pride Park in the past three years. It will undertake the electrical, mechanical, plumbing and air conditioning services to the Lloyds Register office building currently being constructed by the Radleigh Group.
Morecrofts has also been appointed to handle the electrical installation at a 136-bedroom Tune Hotel to be built in Central London.
It then won a deal to provide electrical services installation during the refurbishment and large scale extension of Hardwick School in Wellingbrough.
Morecrofts secured sales of £5.5m in its last financial year, an increase of 50 per cent on 2010.
Managing director Jared Mitchell added: "We are currently busy targeting works to start in the New Year and we expect turnover to reach £6m by May 2012."
