A Sutton Coldfield-based at-home care company is set to create 30 jobs over the next few months, Insider can reveal.

Sally Clough, the owner of Home Instead Senior Care, said the jobs would be generated by spring 2012.

Established four years ago, Home Instead provides at-home care for elderly people.

Clough said: "With an ageing population, caring for the elderly is a very important issue and we have found many people are delighted to learn that there is now a realistic 'stay at home' option.

"As the word is spreading, we have gained many new clients in the area, and as a result we are actively looking to recruit around 30 new team members by spring."

Home Instead provides services including meal preparation, light housekeeping, personal care, medication reminders, shopping and errands.
