Countrywise picks up Lincoln Vending
Water cooler distributor Lincoln Vending has been acquired by a Hull-based rival.
Countrywise Water Coolers bought the Lincolnshire company and Kilburn-based Chilburne Spring.
The latter business was established in 1994 bottling mineral water at the foot of the White Horse in the North Yorkshire Moors.
It expanded into Lincolnshire in 2001 as it merged with Lincoln Vending.
Countrywise is a family owned business that was established in 1991. It is based on Dairycoates Industrial Estate in Hull.
Countrywise managing director Diane Stow said: "The new products and services we can offer through the acquisition will strengthen Countrywise's position within the Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire area and we look forward to working with customers."
Paul Hodgson, managing director at Chilburne Spring, added: "Countrywise is widely recognised in the region and in the water cooler industry and we are delighted that Chilburne Spring has joined forces with such an experienced and ambitious company that will continue with the same high regard for customer service."
