We Want Any Car drives network growth

Online car buying business We Want Any Car has told Insider it plans to increase the number of offices it operates from 50 to 80 over the next year.

The Cannock-based business was established in 2009 and grew to comprise ten sites within a year.

Operations director Tim Clapham said the company was aiming to have 80 offices by the end of 2012 and would start a recruitment campaign in the next year

He said: "We had ten offices open in the Midlands region and with the amount of positive recommendations we were achieving, it seemed natural to expand the business further afield.

"Many customers were travelling more than 80 miles to sell their car and to cope with this demand we have opened new offices throughout the country."

Headcount at the company has increased by more than 100 per cent, from 22 in April to 51 employees.

The expansion of offices and employees has allowed We Want Any Car to expand the services it offers and now provides customer service, home visits and collection facilities, in addition to its online base.
