Smith Cooper to pilot new offering

Midlands accountancy firm Smith Cooper has unveiled plans to establish a private client service. The new programme will be piloted in its Nottingham office before being rolled out across the Midlands.

Smith Cooper's new division will be headed up by director Andy Stubbs, who previously worked at RBS in the East Midlands.

The firm said its new service aims to help businesses and individuals save money.

Stubbs said the new service would be seeking individuals who complete tax returns , whether they are 40 per cent or above , or who have sizeable investment income , investable assets or a buy-to-let portfolio.

Smith Cooper has offices in Alfreton; Ashbourne; Derby; Burton-on-Trent; Buxton; Ilkeston and Nottingham.
