The Cube drinks to latest venture
A skyline champagne bar has opened at Birmingham venue The Cube. The £150,000 bar is located next to Marco Pierre White's restaurant on the 25th floor.
The 50-seater Laurent Perrier lounge is a joint venture with The Cube's operator Sanguine Hospitality and will be the family-owned champagne house's first bar outside of London.
It will be positioned alongside the restaurant and above the boutique Hotel Indigo Birmingham, both of which are set to open next month (December).
Nick Taplin, managing director of Sanguine Hospitality, said: "Laurent Perrier is one of the world’s most renowned champagne brands and we are delighted to bring the company’s first UK bar to Birmingham.
"There is a real taste for affordable glamour in the city and we’ve set out to deliver a 21st century destination. This venue will allow people to sip excellent champagne before enjoying exquisite food at Marco's and perhaps even an opulent night at Hotel Indigo."
