A-STAT and Eco Copiers join forces
Two West Midlands office equipment companies have merged in a bid to boost growth and investment.
Wolverhampton-based A-STAT Copiers has combined operations with Telford-based Eco Copiers.
The pair will now work under the name A-STAT Copiers and specialise in providing equipment including photocopiers, fax machines and document management solutions.
The company will serve clients in the commercial, local authority, education and professional services sectors.
Eco Copiers' former managing director Jason Blair has taken on a the role of sales director in the new organisation.
"Both A-STAT and Eco Copiers built their reputation on delivering a great service to clients, and on developing strong relationships, so from the start we had a natural synergy," he said.
"I've known A-STAT's founder and director David Westwood for a number of years, and have been in talks with him to merge the businesses for the last few months.
"Our combined buying power means that we can access the very best prices from manufacturers for our clients, plus we're eager to continue to invest in the region and to further grow our operations in the coming 12 months."
