Ideal Care Homes expands Midlands footprint
Ideal Care Homes has opened a new site on the former Golden Ball Pub site in Bulwell, Nottingham, creating 40 jobs.
Fairway View will provide residential care home for 41 elderly people and will be operated by Ideal Care Homes, part of the LNT Group.
The group is also developing another new care home in Arnold and is awaiting planning approval for a site in Carrington.
Ideal Care Homes operates 24 care homes across Yorkshire and the Midlands.
LNT said it had identified Nottingham as "a key location" for its site acquisition and development programme.
Lorraine Baggs, investment and trade manager at inward investment programme Invest in Nottingham, said she was working with LNT to discuss future possibilities for expansion within the city.
She added: "It is great news to see Ideal Care Homes open their latest care home in Nottingham, particularly as it will create 40 jobs in the healthcare sector."
