Car parts distributor CES UK has reported its "most successful year" to date after increasing pre-tax profits by 18 per cent to £3m.

CES employs more than 500 people across 18 UK offices.

The company said its success was down to a "change in the mix of products sold and organic growth".

"The company continues to have a strong working capital position, this is after significant in the past two years funded from cashflow."
