Jamie Oliver deal heats up Hartman sales
A Telford-based furniture manufacturer has reported a 100 per cent increase in its fire pit sales after collaborating with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.
Hartman UK, which supplies outdoor furniture, started an exclusive venture with Oliver to produce fire pits for home use two years ago.
After orders doubled over the past year, the company has secured a deal with the celebrity chef to extend the collection for 2012.
Paul Facey, sales and marketing director at Hartman UK, said: "Orders for the fire pit have already increased 100 per cent from last year, so production will be at least doubled for next year.
"The quality of the product combined with the Jamie Oliver branding, and supported by solid point-of-sale and marketing, mean that we anticipate a good season ahead for this exciting new collection."
