Pertemps swoops for Xchangeteam
Recruitment giant Pertemps, based in Meriden, has snapped up a Bristol-headquartered rival.
The company bought Xchangeteam for an undisclosed figure.
Xchangeteam, which was founded by entrepreneur Emma Brierley in 1999, focuses on freelance and permanent recruitment in the marketing, media and communications sectors.
Brierley said: "We are delighted to have become part of the Pertemps group, while still retaining our operational independence and brand.
"We will continue to offer our clients and candidates our well-recognised quality service, but use Pertemps' resources to enable us to adapt to a changing market and offer some new services for our clients, freelancers and job seekers alike."
Bristol-based advisory company Target Corporate Finance acted as lead adviser on the deal.
