Sarantel in $1m antenna deal
Sarantel Group has won an order with a US-based company worth more than $1m (£630,000).
The Wellingborough-based company will supply its miniature filtering antennas to NAL Research Corporation
Sarantel Group manufactures antennas for mobile and wireless devices. It will distribute its second-generation Iridium antenna to equip NAL Reaserch's SHOUT nano touch screen device.
The SHOUT is a low-power two-way satellite messaging and personal tracking device.
Sarantel said it expects the order to generate more than $1m in revenue over the next three years.
David Wither, chief executive of Sarantel, said: "NAL Research continues to lead the market in the development of satellite messaging terminals. The innovative nano touch screen introduces an interactive touch screen while offering a full set of features, in a high performance, compact rugged design."
