ICCM to grow with private equity deal
Independent Community Care Management (ICCM), based in Kettering, has agreed a private equity investment deal with ISIS Equity Partners.
ICCM supports adults and children with a range of complex conditions, including spinal cord injuries and acquired brain injuries.
The company, which employs about 300 workers, received the undisclosed investment from ISIS to help it expand its geographical reach outside the East Midlands.
Derby-based Cooper Parry Corporate Finance and the Nottingham office of law firm Browne Jacobson advised the management team of ICCM on the deal.
Zerina Yerrell, managing director of ICCM, said: "The investment from ISIS allows ICCM to continue to deliver exceptional levels of care and provides a strategic partner with proven healthcare credentials to assist ICCM through its next period of growth."
Legal advice was provided by Nigel Blackwell, Paul Simpson and Christina Swales of the corporate team at Browne Jacobson.
Nigel Blackwell of Browne Jacobson provided legal advice to ICCM on the deal. He added: "The role of specialist independent healthcare providers has grown considerably over the last ten years. With significant changes to the UK healthcare environment on the horizon and the prospect of greater outsourcing of services the future looks promising for companies such as ICCM.
"We are delighted that private equity investors such as ISIS are prepared to invest into this growing and resilient sector."
