Sales to reach "record high" at Delcam
Birmingham-based software supplier Delcam said it expects year-end profits to be ahead of current market expectations, which stand at £2.8m.
The company, which specialises in providing software solutions for metrology and product development, reported a "strong" first half in which interim revenues reached a "record high".
Delcam said trading in its fourth quarter to date has been positive, adding that the board now expects pre-tax profits to be ahead of current market expectations of £2.8m, stated before share option charges of £100,000.
Sales for the full year are expected to be about £40m, which the company described as "a new high".
Results were released through a trading update to the Stock Exchange this morning (14 November).
A company statement read: "All Delcam's major trading regions have contributed to the strong performance to date, with the company's performance in Germany being especially pleasing. Delcam's financial position remains very strong."
