Eco Environments targets Derbyshire

Share | |

Renewable energy company Eco Environments has launched an operation in Belper, Derbyshire.

The Liverpool-based company has recruited Matt Haynes as business development manager to promote the company across the county.

Eco Environments began trading about four years ago and this year is on course to achieve turnover of more than £5.5m.

The company installs services including Solar Photovoltaic (PV), wind turbines, solar thermal and air source heat pumps.

David Hunt, a director with Eco Environments, said: "We are already established in the West Midlands and are finding we are increasingly being asked to handle domestic and commercial projects in other parts of the Midlands. Having a presence on the ground in Derbyshire allows us to continue our expansion in the region.

"There does appear to be a lot of interest in renewable energy technologies in the Midlands, possibly more so than any other region in which we currently operate."

In addition to its Liverpool headquarters, the company has regional offices in Carlisle, Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and North Wales.
