Halfords Autocentres on the move
Halfords Autocentres has announced it will relocate its head office to the group site in Redditch.
It will move from its base in Olton, and the business told Insider it hoped "as many of our 60 Halfords Autocentres colleagues as possible" will move to the Redditch site.
The car servicing division of Halfords currently has a network of 300 UK sites which the company said it would continue to grow.
Halfords Autocentres' head office staff would join the Halfords retail team in spring next year.
Halfords Autocentres will continue to be managed, trade and operate as a separate business within the Halfords Group, the company confirmed.
Halfords Autocentres' chief executive Bill Duffy said: "This is an important proposal for our business. Now that the Autocentres have been successfully rebranded and relaunched, the next logical step in our growth strategy is to unite our head office teams under one roof."
