Aulak takes on national accountancy role
A partner at the Birmingham office of Chantrey Vellacott DFK has been appointed chairman of the DFK accounting group.
Suk Aulak, partner and head of office at Chantrey Vellacott DFK on Calthorpe Road, will take up the head role at accountancy group DFK UK & Ireland.
The association, which was founded 15 years ago, now has 17 member firms across 31 offices, including the Birmingham site.
Aulak was welcomed as chairman when the association held its annual conference when it was announced that member firms had hit the combined fee milestone of £75m.
He said: "We are all operating in an increasingly global world and we have clients who operate right across the UK and internationally.
"Eight new member firms have been brought into the association in the last five years and our aim is to add a couple of new members in the next few years to further expand our geographical reach."
