Willsco and Anystaff snapped up by Boardwalk
Recruitment company Willsco has been acquired by Boardwalk Investments. The Telford-based company and its wholly-owned subsidiary Anystaff Recruitment were bought for an undisclosed sum.
Boardwalk Investments, which was established two years ago, provides staffing and recruitment services to clients the UK.
Willsco and Anystaff Recruitment, owned by Matthew Williams, specialise in the placement of temporary and permanent blue collar workers into food, automotive and manufacturing businesses.
Tom McMurray, chief executive of Boardwalk Investments, said the deal was part of a broader plan to make "selective bolt-on acquisitions to broaden both revenue stream and customer base".
Matthew Williams will stay with the business after the deal has completed, said: "An exciting future lies before Anystaff. Joining forces with an ethical company that truly cares about its clients and applicants is the main reason we elected to be acquired by BIL."
Legal advice was provided to Williams by Morrisons Solicitors. Tax advice was supplied by Ryecroft Glenton Chartered Accountants.
BTG Corporate Finance in Southampton acted as corporate financier to Boardwalk Investments with George Ide providing legal advice.
