Russian delegates come to Worksop
A Russian delegation has visited Worksop to develop links with manufacturers in the region.
The Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers (RUMSS) together with the Russian Steel Constructional Association (RSCA), paid a visit to Worksop Galvanizing a part as part of its collaborative business programme.
The delegation said the visit was aimed to create stronger links between British and Russian businesses in the fields of design, manufacture and applications of steel structures.
Paul Robinson, sales manager at the hot-dip galvanizing company, said: "The group spent the afternoon on site and saw first-hand our technologically-advanced facilities, as well as our 21-metre bath which is the largest in the UK and which has the capacity to galvanize steelwork up to 29 metres. Feedback was really positive and they certainly seemed impressed by what they’d seen."
