Lifestyle Living snaps up Scottish parks

Residential park owner Lifestyle Living Group has acquired two sites in Scotland.

The Lincolnshire company purchased the Silver Sands Leisure Park in Lossiemouth and the Riverview Country Park in Mundole for an undisclosed sum.

Lifestyle Living said it now intended to invest "millions of pounds" into the 50 acre, 645 plot Silver Sands Leisure Park and the 37 acre, 178 plot Riverview Country Park.

Tony Barney, Lifestyle Living Group's chief executive, said: “As we said during the sale negotiations, I believe that both parks have the potential to become five star holiday destinations, drawing visitors from across the UK and globally.

"This is an unspoilt region, with sandy beaches and an enviable coastline. Its simple, tranquil beauty combined with the vastly improved facilities we intend to deliver is increasingly what holidaymakers are looking for."

The purchases of Silver Sands Leisure Park and Riverview Country Park follow Lifestyle Living Group’s recent acquisitions of Little Eden Country Park in Bridlington and Saddlebrook Park on the Isle of Sheppey.
