West Midlands Property Awards – shortlists announced
The shortlists for Insider's eleventh West Midlands Property Awards have been revealed.
The two companies nominated for Office Agency Team of the Year are CBRE and GVA. The pair will also battle it out against Jones Lang LaSalle for Industrial Agency Team of the Year.
Property Deal of the Year has been narrowed down to the sale of the Mailbox, the acquisition of Brindleyplace and the sale of Two Snowhill.
St Modwen and Midland Heart wuill go up against each other for the Regeneration Award for their Longbridge and Crocodile Works projects respectively.
Project Management Team of the Year will be fought out between Rider Levett Bucknall, EC Harris and DBK while DLA Piper, Eversheds and Squire Sanders Hammonds are all up for Property Law Firm of the Year.
Crest Nicholson and Midland Heart have been shortlisted for Residential Developer of the Year.
Opus Land will go up against Associated Architects for the Sustainability Award, and the former will also bid to be named Commercial Developer of the Year alongside Stoford Developments and St Modwen.
Finally, the Architects Practice of the Year nominees have been named as Sidell Gibson Architects and Webb Gray & Partners.
The awards dinner will take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on 24 November. The evening's host will be Kyran Bracken, star of England’s World Cup winning team at the 2003 Rugby World Cup and winner of 2007's Dancing on Ice.
