Revenues creep up in Bibby support division
Bibby Consulting and Support, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, has reported year-on-year growth of 4 per cent after a surge in demand for health and safety assistance.
The business, which specialises in employment law and health and safety legislation, said that March was recorded as its most successful single month in three years.
Managing director Michael Slade said the revenue drive was in part attributable to more businesses seeking assisstance with managing human resources and health and safety issues.
"We've also concentrated hard on refining our service and advice on both employment law and health and safety matters," he said.
"As legal requirements have changed, we’ve endeavoured to ensure that our clients are ‘ahead of the curve’ in terms of understanding those changes and the consequences of non-compliance. Our proposition says that we offer clients ‘peace of mind’ – and they increasingly recognise the value of that."
Slade said Bibby Consulting and Support had recently made several key appointments including Steven Attwood as head of projects and Bill Collins as head of department for SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality).
