Amin's heats up with investment
A new Asian restaurant has opened in Worcester after its owner secured a £265,000 loan from Lloyds TSB Commercial.
The opening of Amin's of Worcester, which offers Indian cuisine and a café bistro, has created 12 jobs.
Occupying 4,000 sq ft of Grade II-listed premises on Foregate Street, the company is now aiming to achieve a £250,000 turnover.
The restaurant caters for 90 covers and features a private dining area available for parties.
Amin’s of Worcester is headed-up by owner Mosnul Haque, who has more than 30 years' experience in the catering and restaurant industry. He has teamed up with his brother, chef Jay Haque, who runs two other restaurants in Worcestershire.
The £265,000 loan has been used to purchase the premises and refurbish the site.
Haque said: "Worcester is thriving and dynamic and we believe that we are meeting a demand for a new and exciting Indian restaurant within the city.
"Amin's of Worcester will appeal to both the lunchtime needs of the local professional clients, as well as after work and weekend diners who are looking to enjoy contemporary fusion cuisine in a centrally located restaurant."
